Andhdhun is a crime-suspence-thriller that revolves around a blind pianist who accidentally happens to witness a crime scene which lands him into trouble. What exactly happens to him? is he really blind? does he escape from the situation that he is put into? That's the crux of the story.

The plot is very nice, the performances are very good. There are plenty of unexpected events that unfold very frequently in the narrative. The story telling is tight, to-the-point and no-nonsense. Ayushmann Khurrana and  Tabu do full justice to the character they play. But what could have been an excellent crime-thriller is spoilt a little bit by too many surprises and twists towards the end. Overall, it’s a nicely made thriller that misses the bus of drishyam-type-thriller category by a small whisker. The movie also shows traces of dark comedy in between. The critics did give very good rating for this movie, but I would go with 3.5 out of 5. It could have been a little bit simpler, giving the audience time to think about the previous twist before throwing a new one. In my opinion any 4 star or higher rated movie should have a message and a take away at the end of the movie. Hence it lost half a star
